From 6 to 8 July of the current year the delegation of the Main State Tax Inspectorate (MSTI) under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova led by Mr. Nicolae Platon – Chief of the MSTI has visited the Tax and Customs Administration of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

During the visit, topics on taxation and control of taxpayers with high income, ways of working with large and very large taxpayers (in the administration process, the emphasize is put on the partnership relation with the taxpayer), fiscal control, as well the audit procedure were discussed. As a result of the work visit, a series of aspects, which were taken from the Dutch practice, will be implemented in Moldova’s practice.

The visit ended in the meeting with the Director General of the Tax and Customs Administration of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, who manifested the availability of continuing the collaboration based on the goals set out in the Strategy for the Development of the State Tax Service for the years 2011-2015.
